About

The title of this blog comes from a quote by Anna Julia Cooper:

“Only the BLACK WOMAN can say ‘when and where I enter, in the quiet, undisputed dignity of my womanhood, without violence and without suing or special patronage, then and there the whole…race enters with me.'”

I’m a 20-something cisgender, heterosexual feminist/womanist who lives in the Midwest and advocates for reproductive, economic, and racial justice.

This blog acts as a safe space for me to post my thoughts, ramblings, and ruminations on life, society, and popular culture.
